If you have coverage now and you’re happy with it, there is NOTHING you need to do.

If you want to ADD coverage, CHANGE coverage or STOP coverage, please carefully review this page for help.

IMPORTANT: Access to tele-medicine is provided by The Health Wallet App. Both tele-medicine and MEC Health plans require you to provide information so we can get you setup in the various systems. There is a link at the bottom of this page to an online sign-up form to send us your information. There are NO PAPER FORMS. The entire process is online/electronic.

Tele-medicine

All Tico employees will have access to Tele-medicine for free via The Health Wallet. This service is offered to employees and their registered dependents. Please note: you should click on “Sign Up Now” at the bottom of this page to provide all the information we need to get you and your dependents enrolled in the Tele-medicine program.

Health Wallet

The health wallet allows you to:

  • Keep information about your health plan handy

  • Search for the best prescription drug price, taking advantage of a large national discount program PLUS if you don’t already have it, be sure to download the GoodRX mobile app as another tool to shop for the best price on prescriptions.

  • Access Tele-medicine to speak with a doctor via telephone or video chat. For example, this service is ideal for ailments such as scratches, rashes and most concerns that result in prescription for an antibiotic.

  • Medical Market where you can research the best price on things like X-rays, MRI’s, and certain medical procedures.

  • Text a Health Expert: unlimited one-on-one conversations via text with medical experts for less urgent health questions

MEC Health Plans: choose from 3 plan options

If you have access to a spouse-employer plan, a private health insurance plan with hospitalization or Medicare, we believe you are probably better off keeping what you have. If you have no coverage of this type, access to full plans with hospitalization are available at www.healthcare.gov and you may be eligible for reduced premiums based on your income.

If you don’t have to access to one of the plans mentioned above and choose not to purchase coverage through healthcare.gov, we strongly suggest you consider one of our Minimum Essential Coverage (“MEC”) plans described below.

Medical Services Physician Network: First Health Network access to a national network of 100.,000+ participating providers. CLICK HERE to see if a provider is in the First Health Network. IMPORTANT: When you follow the link, choose the “FIRST HEALTH” network to search.

Prescription Drugs: Access to 1,000’s of pharmacies nationwide, including Rite Aid, CVS, Walmart, Costco, Target and many more big box stores.

For all our plans, you can purchase these coverage types:

  • Employee Only

  • Employee + Spouse

  • Employee + Child(ren) - where children includes dependent children up to age 26

  • Family Plan - which includes employee + spouse + dependent children age 26 or under
